How many times have we heard or said this? “Jesus, fix it!” or “Jesus, take the wheel!” The interesting part of this is what is our role in the situation? Sometimes we create more havoc for ourselves and then ask to be bailed out. Think about it, what part did we play in getting things to a point of asking Jesus to fix it? Now, I do understand, that sometimes the situation had nothing to do with our individual actions, but many times it centers right around us. Here is a thought, how about really pausing for a moment before you act, speak or whatever, and think about what you are about to engage in and see if it is really the thing that you want to do. Are you ready for the potential outcomes? Consequences? If not, stop. If you think you are ready, be prepared to work like mad to correct anything, just in case you were wrong. We have been given free will and it swings in all directions; good, bad and indifferent. Know that you may not get bailed out and it is just a lesson that needed to be learned.
